I will say though, that you should know what you want first.
To me, pre existant condition waiver was
very important. Some companies will allow that to be purchased
until you make final payment or even
after ( at a premium) ....SO, it is important to understand what you are paying for (without that waiver you can be denied for many reasons, including but not limited to someone that was sick X amount of days before the trip and treated. The carriers do a "look back period")
Anyway, it can become complicated, so research what you think you'll need and be sure to cover your entire trip (not those parts NOT covered, like under SW airlines you'd get your $ back, so covering (air) that which would be denied is a waste of your money)
