Trip Insurance?

For those DVCers, who have traveled "home" during the month of September, do you get trip insurance?

Just curious about opinions on getting trip insurance for trips during the hurricane season, as we just made reservations for late September 2007.

We don't get trip insurance for our DVC trips - we self insure. So far we've been lucky and not had to cancel any trips at the last minute. But we don't go during hurricane season either - too hot and muggy for us, LOL.

FWIW, I think the insurance costs too much for what you get back - about $5/point. Since you don't get your points back, I don't think it's worth it. Also, IIRC (and I may not - it's been a while since I looked at a policy), you have to pay extra to cover airfare.
