trip insurance for off site visit

Hello everyone. I am planning a trip in March in which I will be staying in a condo off site. I am looking to rent through VRBO. My question is since you never know with kids...is it possible to get trip insurance in this situation. I realize if you stay onsite you can pay extra for it, but being off site is it also possible? Thanks so much.

The travel insurance you can purchase through Disney isn't the best deal out there. Check out www.insuremytrip.com There are many policies available and the cost is based on the value of your trip. We have used it for Disney and for our Royal Caribbean cruise.

We stay off site in a villa and we get trip insurance through insuremytrip.com. Most villas will not refund you money if you have to cancel. It is worth the piece of mind to have the trip insurance. Our trip insurance last year cost $69 (it covered the $600 villa cost and 6 airline tickets) and this year it was $89 (it covered a $1300 villa and 6 airline tickets). Good luck.
