We bought the trip insurance through DCL, when we booked our cruise, but we did not book our flights through Disney. It is noted on the trip insurance info that they will only cover airfare related penalties, if you cancel, but doesn't say anything about the other air-related coverages, like baggage delay, trip delay, etc. It reads to me that all the other stuff is covered, any experiences?
For example, we are flying in the day before and have a hotel reservation, if (God forbid) our flight is delayed so long that we don't need the hotel, but we get charged anyway, will the trip insurance cover the hotel fees? Or, if our luggage is delayed and we have to buy clothes to cover until it arrives, is that covered.
TIA!
