We are going to go in April. We originally didn't have another plan to visit again until September 2017. But I have finally convinced my husband that I cannot go that long without a Disney fix. So my question is, when would be a less busy time to visit in nov, dec, jan? Touringplans shows most days just being packed during that time! Thanks for your help!

If you don't care about Christmas decor the first couple weeks of November can be good, or the first couple weeks of December if you do. The time from Halloween start until after the holidays are usually slammed- but then again DL is usually slammed all the time now haha. We always plan to go the first 2 weeks of December if we can- you get all the Christmas fun but kids are still in school so it's less crowded.

Stay away from the main Christmas/New Year period and you will be fine. Early December is probably better than January, only because there tend to be more ride closures in January.

Just remember that the Holiday Parade taping is usually around the first week of November.

The 6th of November is dapper days. That will be busy. The next weekend-14th? Will be marathon. Stay away from that weekend!
