I've never had to cancel a trip so I don't know the answer to this one, but a freind asked me about cancellation policies.

she's about to book a trip, and she's thinking of booking one of the on-site package plans for sometime next spring. but she's worried that she may have to cancel the trip after she books it. how far in advance must she cancel in order to get her moeny back?

If your friend has a brochure, it's right in the back.

Not sure about packages, but rooms booked through CRO are fully refundable if you can cancel at least 5 days in advance.

There are different policies depending upon whether or not the trip is booked with a Disney Club discount.

Typically packages must be paid in full 45 days in advance and there are varying cancellation policies after that point.

For Disney Club packages, however, payment in full is due 21 days in advance and the cancellation can be made up to five days prior without penalty.

Your friend should inquire about the cancellation penalties for her package when she books it.

thanks. I've never had to cancel a trip -- came pretty close, our second trip, when older dd came down with strep just before the trip, and younger dd got sick our first day at dixie Landings. but that was a couple of years ago, and I really hadn't paid attention to the cancellation policy since then.
