I am trying to figure out trip insurance since this Disney cruise is both expensive, and the first with my young child. We never got insurance before since the likelihood of an issue for the two of us seemed very small, but since the deposit is non-refundable with Disney and little ones can be sick/accident prone, we are thinking about getting it.
However, my issue is that I am self-employed (single person LLC) and I consult on a full-time basis. I pretty much have one big client, and things can get scheduled fast. For example, I didn't think I would be traveling today to a site, but yet I will be flying off in a few hours! Some of the companies explicitly exclude self-employed people from using work reasons on Trip Cancellation such as nationwide, but others don't exclude it. They usually mention a notarized statement from an officer, but I am a little unclear if I won't qualify. Does anyone have any experience here?
Thanks!
