We have a condo rental at Windsor Hills for June and I have been watching Trip Advisor like a hawk. We have never rented a condo before and the closer we get to our trip the more nervous I get. Generally the reviews of WH on the DIS and on TA are favorable, but the most recent one has me in a tizzy. :scared1: The complaint is not of the resort itself, but of the home that they rented. What if I get a condo that's dirty, moldy, etc...? Then I'm stuck in Florida in a dirty condo that I've already paid for for 11 days!! What would I do in that situation? Help!!!!

Don't panic!

Take reviews on Trip Advisor with a grain of salt. No matter how perfect a place is, there will always be someone who has "issues". Read through the reviews... look for people from your own area who've been there.

Then look at the big picture.

If the majority of reviews are negative... stay away. If the majority are glowing... go for it! :surfweb:

Every property will be different. If you get a dirty condo then called the owners and/or management company and complain and ask to have it cleaned properly. Keep asking till you get it but if you don't and it bothers you big time just take a few minutes and some bleach and do the worst of it yourself. I know it's not the best solution but it might save your sanity.
I just read that review on TA that you're referring to and I wouldn't believe everything you read. If they were paying $200. a night for a condo or townhouse then they got ripped off big time. I doubt that there were any overgrown weeds either. I've stayed at WH 3 times in different townhouses and a 6 br home and the lawns and pool area are immaculate. Beside the fact that there is no Crensaw Street in WH. There is a Renshaw St and I have stayed in a townhouse along there and the grounds have been very well looked after.
