So it’s looking more and more like the rumors are true.

Now I’m really excited for that upgrade phone call!

We have an early November stay in a Family Suite so I just called. The Cast Member (and I know they aren't always fully informed) looked for advisories regarding All Star Music and didn't see any, then he went into the system to see if he could make changes to my reservation and it was allowing him to look for availability, so he doesn't think it's closed. He said it may be reduced capacity as they open, but he doesn't see any markers that usually indicate a full closure.

I called Disney yesterday to ask if all star music would be open in October. The cast member didn't see anything about it being closed but got me to guest services. Guest services even checked with their outbound call team and said there was nothing about All-Star music not being available.

I agree it could be a partial closure or Disney hasn't told all the cast members. 🤷‍♀️

Agreed. I think it’s a partial closure. Music is still showing availability for my dates at the end of September. I would think they would turn off booking if they were going to delay reopening of the whole resort.

Trip Advisor doesn't get special information. I'd give it a lot more credibility of a Disney specialist TA, like Dreams, had information.

That said I wouldn't be surprised if resort re-opening got delayed.

I just booked Music for 12/12/21 - 12/18/21 on Wednesday. I guess we'll wait and see what happens.

That’s what I’ve been thinking..that it’s not going to re-open at full capacity. Which would explain why only some people are being called.

Of course, it’s all just speculation (except for some people being moved) until Disney makes a formal announcement.

Considering what’s been happening with reservations in general (rumor mill says reservations in the next few weeks have fallen off a cliff) and ASMusic specifically with so many people being moved I would be 0% surprised to see this be announced next week.

FWIW, TripAdvisor has that same note for all 4 still closed hotels.

And sites like TripAdvisor, Yelp, etc, have had a history of questionable dates throughout the pandemic.

Not saying it’s not possible they tinker with some reopening dates/plans given some of calls going out moving people around, but I’d take the TripAdvisor notice with a grain of salt until more info comes out.
