Has anyone tried Trim Spa? And has it helped? I look at Anna Nicole and I think jeez if she can lose the weight what the h*** is wrong with me??? I am seriously considering getting the trim spa but I dont want to waste the money if they arent going to give me a boost.

ok, I admit I watched her show, just that one to see how much she lost. I just wanted to share my thoughts that both DH and I thought she acted like she was on drugs, really. Strung out like and flying high. Maybe not, this is just our opinions, but I'm not sure she's a great role model in the healthy lifestyle venue :)

IMHO - diet pills are a band-aid and once you stop them you are high risk to cycle back into the same eating patterns that caused you to gain weight in the first place.

I know nothing about trim-spa, and there are some good supplements out there. I'm not into them I guess. I'm not trying to say trim-spa drugged her out, I just wondered if there was more in her system:eek:

Hang in there banshee -- keep up a healthy lifestyle and the weight will come off. It may take a while for your body to adjust and then whoosh~~~~the WF will come and bless you :)

I think she acted better after taking them. When I first started watching her she was really messed up on something but a diet pill will definetly not make your eyes look like that. She admitted on her show the other night tht she Was taking drugs and liked to drink. So I think she was taking something like Xanax or something like that.

She seems that she at least can talk with her eyes open now.She looks excellent.

I think I am going to try Trim Spa and see how it works.I omly want to lose about 10 pounds so we will see.I am going to be splitting a bottle with my friend to see how we like them.

I watched that show and I agree, she was definitely on something....

She also made a faux pas by not giving Trim Spa the credit by saying she just lost weight for no reason!

Any company crazy enough to use Anna Nicole as a spokesperson has got to be up to somethng!

I forgot to say in my other post that I think they will definetly give you a boost.

As much as I don;t want to admit this, I too have been considering buying trim spa. Of course I say like many others (I am sure) that once I lose it I wil not gain it back! I guess thats a chance I will have to take! Anyway, not certain yet but still considering it.

So, "trim spa" is some sort of supplement?

Yes, it's a supplement, using classic "diet pill" strategies.

It used to use Ephedra and Caffeine to speed up the heart rate and body temp (they would describe this as "boosting metabolism"). Ephedra was shown to be incredibly dangerous and the FDA banned it, so now they tout their new formula as "Ephedra Free"... Still uses high amounts of caffeine, but I don't know what else they've changed.

They have a HUGE media campaign out right now, and are trying very hard to market this as a natural, safe supplement... But it's really just another DIET PILL.

I agree with others here that "diet pills" and supplements like these are not the way to a healthy lifestyle, and can actually be harmful to your health. They can raise blood pressure and cause or aggravate heart problems. Please be very careful using these drugs!

(And I'm another who has to question using Anna Nicole as a spokesman... she is genetically blessed with a pretty face and fab body when it's slim... but they forgot to give her a brain!)

I am sorry I havent responded we had a family tragedy last week:( But thanks everyone for the advice.

The only person responsible for putting on the pounds was me!

I opened my mouth to allow non-nutricious and high caloric things in it.

Therefore, the only way to avoid getting fatter, is to change my habits and my way of eating, while improving my health.

I'm staying off supplements (loose term) and sticking to good common sense ~

I believe in Weight Watchers because it believes in me. :)

Count me in on wanting to try them. I have tried supplements before and the one kind that I have used has curved my appetite. Here's the big however.....I think a lot of it is psychological. DH tried the ones that I was using and he said that they did nothing for him. Then again, no medicine or supplement has ever worked for him.

I am going to look at Walmart today to see if they have a knock off version. I really don't want to spend the $$$ on the TrimSpa if it's not going to do anything.

So has anyone really tried this yet? I saw it at Walmart for $20 a bottle and was just wondering what anyone here thought. I am having trouble right now trying to eat right no matter what I do and I thought it might give me the boost I need and then I can start eating right without it. Let me know if you have tried it yet.

Thanks,
Kim

I have tried this and it works. It really curbs my appetite. I really like sweets, and it curb my urge for those, which is wonderful.
It really helped give me the boost I needed to start on the losing track. It did not make me feel jittery or anything. It has a very low amount of caffine also. I would say it is worth a shot to try it.

Please do not use any diet supplements like TrimSpa. I can tell you about all of them. Yes, they do all work, but let me tell you something. I was pretty thin. I had lost about 60 pounds a few years earlier and I had no problem keeping it off. My problem was trying to lose more weight. I was cought at a plateau. So I tried diet pills. And they worked, but as soon as I stopped taking them and continued to eat healthy and exercise, I would gain more weight than when I started. Then I would be unhappy so I would take the pills again and I would end up heavier then when I started AGAIN. It took me 5 different times to get it through my thick skull that these were making me fatter!!!! You will NOT be able to keep to pounds off without taking the pill. So unless you don't mind taking it forever, then don't start. Also, now that I look back, something scares me about putting anything more into my body that increase your metabolism 32 times.

(A little note: These miracles pills made me 30 pounds heavier than when I started and now I can't lose the weight for the life of me)

YIKES!!! There are just so many risks with these drugs- and YES, they ARE DRUGS!!!!

There are risks related to blood pressure, heart ailments, and diabetes. There are drug interactions with coumadin (blood thinners) and diabetes drugs, among others...

Please, guys- this is not a HEALTHY way to lose weight. If you are tempted to try these diet pills, PLEASE talk to your doctor before you start. If your doctor blesses this as a good and healthy weight loss tool for you, fine. But I think he'll tell you the same things that we have here.

Remember what WISH stands for- We're Inspired to Stay Healthy.

And we're staying healthy by adopting good eating and exercising habits.

Please don't resort to using diet pills. With the support of WISH, a sensible healthy eating plan and exercise (not even necessary to loose, but oh it really HELPS!) you can loose the healthy way.

Once you loose the weight with diet pills, what would you do to keep the weight off? Would you have learned to eat less, or just have your appetite curbed due to the pills. Then when you are ready to maintain on your own, you will not have learned to portion control, shrink your stomach or learn to eat healthier.

Our bodies get enough chemicals through the food we eat without taking something on purpose.

I stick with those verbally giving all the good reasons to just say "no" to diet pills and as KathyTx said - yep they are drugs - remember we are WISHers together - stick with us and we will be here to support you while you may "take a little longer" to lose that weight - but if you are doing it a healthy way then it's not a diet - it's a lifestyle and that is an every day routine of just learning how to lose and maintain through healthy food choices, exercise and support from all your WISH friends

We'll be here for ya - just try us ;)

I just want to know what it is. Is it a stimulant? Does it cause heart problems?
