Tried to make dinner res. for July 3rd...

They said that they are not taking them yet because they don't know what the places are doing or blocking off that weekend. Anyone know what is the deal with city walk for dinner. I was hoping to make them on July 3 for Nascar Cafe. Can you use the prority seating front line with staying at the Hard RockHotel

Just got an email back from Nascar Cafe and they said that they are not taking reseverations for the 1st and 2nd weekends in July. They did not know if the prority with staying on the universal hotels is still going to be accepted. I am assuming yes.

I can tell you that the same thing happened to us when I tried to make a PS for Margaritaville at the end of March. They had their calendar blocked out for Spring Break and weren't accepting any PS requests.

They did accept your room key for a PS once you arrived; however, so many people had them that it was a 1.5-2 hour wait, even with your room key (and this was a Monday night).


The best advice I can give you is to not go to dinner as soon as the parks let out. I'm thinking you'll have better luck in July, as the parks close later. In March, the parks closed at 7 P.M., so trying to eat anywhere at City Walk any time after that was futile (unless you had a hard ressie at Emeril's! ). Good luck!

I agree when parks close evereyone heads for a meal the Qs are horrendous even with your room key
