Tried to book ADR's

Hi all

Tried to book some ADRs today for my trip to the world in December.

Couldnt get any reservations at Chef Mickeys for either breakfast or dinner for my whole 9day trip!

We will be there the 1st -10th Dec 08.

We will be a party of 3 adults, do you think there is anyway, we could get a walk up?

You can try..but it seems that Chef Mickeys is one of the harder ones to score a walk up on.Keep trying , people do cancel.

I know it may be very costly to do so as your in Scotland, but I called every single day for over a month and was finally able to get an ADR for a place that had been booked solid! People do cancel and change their plans all the time. Good Luck!

I wish you the best of luck getting one! Don't give up yet. I would keep trying if it's not to expensive to call from Scotland. Even if you don't luck out before your trip to get the ADR's, I would call every morning once you arrive to see if someone has canceled theirs. People always change at the last minute. Is there anywhere else that you could get in as a back up??

original plan was only to do CP for breakfast, but have booked both breakfast and dinner now.

I was thinking perhaps liberty tree tavern, as a possible substitute.

I think the old myth of December being quiet, is well and truly gone now. Everyone is going!!!
