I have read many posts here about the different ways to try and get a pin and I have been trying them all with nothing yet.

I have 3 different e-mails signed up on the Disney site and I did not create these new they were there from past times we have gone. I have gone in with each of these accounts, ordered the planning dvd and saved multiple vacations. Some vacations delux with every expensive option, some mods with dining and some value resorts. I have tried different dates like feb 2010, April 2010, July 2010 and so on.

I have been doing this for about 2 and half weeks now and am wondering how long people were doing this before they received a pin?

Maybe I am just impatient and can't wait to get a belated Christmas present :cool1:

I've been trying all the methods posted here for about 3 weeks and nothing so far. We do go to Disney about once a year, so I guess Disney assumes I'll be coming back anyhow? :confused3

We've never received a pin and reading about how everyone else is getting one is making me depressed......my husband's 40th birthday is next year and he has always wanted to stay at Wilderness Lodge. Only way that'll be happening is with a GREAT deal. Oh well. Moderates are fun too, right?

packofjedis, I feel the same way! We have stayed at POR 2 times and POP 1 time. We would love to stay at a deluxe like the POLY but it is double the price. :worship: I guess I can keep hoping.

I hear ya, I've been doing all the "tricks" for several weeks now and nothing. Even called yesterday to see if there was one for me, big fat no. I had my pity party and now have decided to just deal with what I've got and be happy I'm going to Disney at all!

It is my 40th birthday trip and we really wanted the Poly again, but without a deal it ain't happenin! POR is great too, right?!

I spent about 2o minutes a day with 4 different email addresses for over 4 weeks before I finally got the pin. But get it, I did! And used it to upgrade from POFQ to GF.:banana:

When you guys talk about "saving a vacation" on the WDW site and selecting Deluxe or Moderates, are you simply talking about the Itineraries section under the "My Disney Vacation" area?

Try this: Clear all cookies on your web browser. Go to disneyworld.com Create an account if you don't already have one. Start pricing various packages (you are allowed to save up to 5 offers). Make sure your computer is set up to allow pop ups (i.e., disable pop-up blockers). If the live chat window comes up, do chat with the Disney Cast Member about anything and everything that you might have questions about (even if you know the answers ;)). You might even want to mention you are undecided and hoping for some promotion for your dates. Don't book anything, just save your offers. When you are ready to leave an exit survey should pop-up. Answer the one that says: "Not the best value..." or something like that. Then there is a place where you can write your reasons for not booking. Again reiterate that you are hoping for some sort of promotion or discount for your dates. Make sure you check your emails, including the spam folders. Furthermore, read the fine print in any email your receive from Disney Destinations. Our PIN came in the form of an email that initially appeared to be an ad for one of the resorts we had looked into when saving offers. Then upon close examination of the email, we found there was a PIN code number in the fine print. If you use this strategy for a while, you might be able to generate a PIN code offer for your family. Hope this helps! Here's pixie dust for you all. pixiedust:

Book a dining ressie. I don't know how well this actually works, but I booked a dining ressie (actually four) without an room reservation and the next day I received the Alice in Wonderland 20/30/40% off code.

Hope this helps you. Here is some pixiedust:

I have made three dining reservations in the past two weeks and nothing :confused3 I guess I'm just not one of the lucky ones!

I've done everything, but to no avail. Ordered the DVD in August or September, I think. Have saved numerous trips online (w/ different dates). Have chatted with CM online more than once, taken the exit surveys on the site. I also booked my ADRs a few days before booking the vacation package. I did get an offer from Disney Destinations in November '09 to book a trip by late December '09 and it was some percent off of a deluxe -- that was a no-go for us. I actually just posted a thread about the fact that the CM told me on the phone yesterday that she'll see if she can "make some magic happen for me". Not sure if that was some cruel joke or not.

I've been at it for over a month (maybe longer) every day with 3 accounts. Nothing! I called last week and asked if I had a pin and NOPE! I will continue to plug away but am going to book a room at the Dolphin with AAA for July. I feel like I cannot wait much longer for the pin that might never come.
:sad1:

I've been doing all the exact same thing everyone else has said they are doing for the past 2 years and have been going to disney every years since 2001 and have never gotten a code. I have always been told its random.
