Trick Photo Spot in UO

Does anyone know or has anyone tried the "trick" photo spot near the lagoon on Hollywood Boulevard? I read in one of the tourist books that you can actually snap a photo easily of your whole party ???

There are 2 locations: One is near Fear Factor theater (behind the bathrooms), facing The Simpson's Ride; And the other is near Mel's Drive-In, facing the Horror Make-up Show.

Looking through this lens, or putting a camera to aim through it will show a different picture then normal. For the Simpsons ride it puts a space shuttle on top of the building, and for Hollywood Blvd. it put a fake cityscape behind the buildings.

The space shuttle one disappeared after the Simpsons Ride opened. The one on Hollywood has been replaced with Cars from the new Fast and Furious movie.

Thanks for the update. I was wondering if it was still there since Simpson's replaced BTTF.
