Trick or Treating on Halloween

Hello folks we will be down at the Fort the 30th of Oct until the 6th of Nov.. It will be our first time there for Halloween, we want to take our kids out trick or treating what do we do with the candy we want to hand out? What do others do about handing out candy? Leave a pot out of candy and do the honor system or should someone stay behind to do the handing out??

I think everyone is at the Fort for Halloween. I've never been at Halloween but I have seen posted where people leave a table with a light and candy while they trick or treat and use the honor system. I know even people who stay to pass out candy go thru alot of it so be surprised.

The two times we were at the Fort on Halloween, I've done both...handed candy out & left a table with a bowl of candy on it. It's hit or miss trick or treating. A lot of people are in the parks that night and the sites are vacant. BUT there are kids trick or treating .... both ways worked for me.
