Just saw this was schedule for the 22-24. Is this going to make the parks uber-crowded? Will there by any kind of restrictions on the parks? Some of the pics look like there will actually be people running in Epcot.

The parks won't be that crowded. The swimming takes place by the Contemporary, the bike is mostly off property and the run is through Epcot. They will have part of the sidewalks blocked off for runners but from what I remember in past years, it isn't bad getting around.

Thanks, eeyore. Will the running in Epcot be before the parks open or during the day? Also, will that part be on Saturday (if you know)?

Thanks!

We rarely noticed them in Epcot last year. The only time we did is in the "crosswalks". Then it only caused a few seconds delay.

Thanks, Evil Queen! What would you say the crowd levels were like at all the parks during the event?

Honestly we didn't experience any large crowds in any parks, except the water parks.

Our longest wait in all 4 parks was 20 minutes for Dumbo. About half of the rides ranged from 5-10 minutes wait and the other half was basically walk ons. But I've heard different stories from different posters.

We try to get there as early as possible in the mornings, but have never made an opening (by 9:30 a.m. was the norm for us). We would hit what we believed to be the most popular rides first, then moved on to the "must do's" of course using Fast Passes when we could.

It was hot, but the lack of crowds, made the heat more bareable, for us anyway.

We went during Free Dining last year, but we didn't know about free dining, so we were none the wiser. Not sure how much of a big impact the Free Dining will have this year.

We are going a week earlier this year (16th to the 23rd), so that could make a difference in the crowd times.

We LOVE Spetember now. :thumbsup2 This will be our 3rd September trip coming up.
