Tri Circle D

I’m taking DD4 to Topolinos for breakfast on a Wednesday, then going to head to MK and take the boat to Tri Circle D for a pony ride.

I know pony rides are 10-3, under 48 inches, and $8.00. Kids should have closed toed shoes. My plan now is to do pony rides, see horses, and ??.

Questions:

1. Can I use my magic band? Should I bring cash? Card?
2. What else is there for us to do? I don’t think I have ever been. Somewhere someone said gem mining is available - is that true?

This is our rest day. I want to do things not park related. Other suggestions? Playgrounds?

The pony rides are up front at the Fort. You would need to Catch a bus from the Marina up to the Outpost. Any color bus will get you there. Bus stop from the marina is to the right follow in front of Hoop Dee Doo Review and strraight ahead is the bus stop. I would advise bringing card for sure. There is Gem mining, there are also Archery lessons. There are a couple of playgrounds, but when we were there in October they were closed due to Covid. Not sure they have re-opened. Tri Circle D is open to tour, and see the horses that are housed there. We did not get to see the new building during our last stay.

Are the gem mining and archery open now? Those would be awesome!

Yes I grabbed this today.

The playground in front of P&Js, near the marina, is open now. So is gem mining and archery, but I'd recommend reserving archery if you're set on it - we tried day-of a couple times and it was full last month. I'm also not sure what the age limit is. Near the pony rides, you can also spend some time visiting with the big horses in the barn.

Will pony rides and gem mining be open if it rains? it’s set to rain our break day, and I don’t want to go if the two activities I planned will be closed!

at Raven01, both activities still go on in the rain but only if there is no lightning within 6 miles of WDW. Thats when all outside activities are shut down for safety.
