Tri Circle D Ranch?

Anyone been? Worth it?
One of my girls is a horse fanatic, and she would love to see horses up close! She's too young for trail riding, but I was thinking a tour of the ranch and perhaps a carriage ride.
What say ye?

I'm curious too.

I do believe I have heard that the ranch hands are quite informative and friendly but you are not allowed to touch the horses. That's a deal breaker for my DD.

It's a neat option but I would only do it if you have a lot of time to kill with no parks to visit or are doing a resort only day. Or this is a 5th, 6th, 7th+ trip. There is so much else to do that is unique to WDW. We can see horses any time at home or at least much closer to home.

It's cute and the stables have pictures of the Disney live action horse movies plus there are pony rides. It's good for a budding horse lover. A better bet is to take a visit to Grand Cypress which is right outside Disney and is a functioning stable.

There's a petting zoo over there too, isn't there? I remember when we went, we were surprised at how low key and relaxed it was for being on disney property.

We were there not just a week ago while you can get rather close to the horse in their stables they do ask that you do not touch them. I took several pics at pretty close ranges and they didn't seem to be bothered so their temperaments seem very good. And half of the barn is closed off to employees only, and since DBF wasn't digging the "smell of horse" I didn't want to stay around to ask if I could pet one of the "supervised" ones. Its the same with the ponies on the walking trail though you might have better luck with them and their CM. Also just an added bonus one of the ponies has a "hidden" mickey shaved into its hind quarters.
