What is the best spot and do we request it when we make a ressie or when we check in? Thanks!

I have no idea what the rooms are called so I can't help that way. I do know that I walked through the ice room and there would be no way I could have a relaxing meal in there. The color of the room is just too much for me! We sat in the room right before the ice room in an alcove with a big booth. It was nice and slightly less loud then the rest of the place! P.S. We did really enjoy our meal there! The burger I had was delicious!

I sat by the baby woolly mamouth...it was slightly loud lol. Maybe the otherside of the restuarant would have been better

If you want action, sit inside the ice room. we loved it. Being right inside when the meteor showers were going on was a lot of fun. We liked it.

HOWEVER if you dont like noise, tell the host and they'll put you in a quieter spot. Personally i think if you dont like noise, youre in the wrong restaurant. Cause you can hear the meteor shower from pretty much everywhere.

I also have to say NOT in the ice room. It's fine to walk through there, but to sit for an extended period of time...ugh...major headache all over it. Not because of the noise, but because of the lights, especially the blue.

We did not like the ice room. OK, the adults did not like the ice room, the kids loved it. The noise didn't bother me, it was the lighting. Meals at a place like that go slow, and after sitting in blue light for over an hour, I was starting to feel sick. Our meal looked really unappetizing because of the lighting (although the food was very good, better than RFC, in our opinion). You get red flashes sometimes, but that is not enough to give you a break. I really wish there was normal lighting for some of the time, although I guess that would kind of defeat the purpose. I will request not to sit there again.

The bar area with the underwater theme looked really neat, and the back area towards the bathrooms seemed to be quieter than the rest of the place.

All in all, though, we will definitely be going back on our next trip. But next time we are going to budget more time, because we didn't have any time to visit the sand pit, or go to Build a Dino.

I don't think there is a quiet place to sit. It's a very busy and loud restaurant. But like PP's, I'd avoid the ice room. It gives me a major headache if I'm in there for more than 5 minutes!

I like the "jungle" room.

wow, am I really the only adult who enjoys the ice room? I thought it was fun! Then again im very much a kid when im at disney.

To me it seems the farther from the entrance the quiter it is, so I would ask to sit in the Herbivore section. I personally love the action and noise so we like to sit in the Carnivore or Ice Room.
