Trevor's Star Wars Make A Wish trip

All the new Mickey mail brought some great things! I love the Mickey/Minnie hats. The tie dye is awesome too! And those safari shirts and adorable skirts are great! Your family is going to be the best dressed family at GKTW that week!

You are very welcome! I hope you have a great trip!

Are you planning on taking a walk through the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail in Animal Kingdom? We really enjoy it. The bats, the Komodo Dragon, and the Galapagos Tortoise are some of our favourites. One trip we spent about 30 minutes just watching the tortoise. It was fascinating to see how dinosaur-like he really was.

I'll have to check that out. It sounds like fun!! I'm sure the kiddos would love it!

Jackie, It's been nice chatting with you, sorry I am so far behind on all my subscriptions. Love all the wonderful gifts your family is receiving. The kids expressions are priceless. Thanks so much for keeping me updated through pm. I appreciate you taking the time to do that!

I understand about being behind on my subscriptions! I try to keep up but I'm not doing to well... Yes. It has been nice chatting by pm :)

such cute skirts and AK shirts!
hope you enjoyed the sunshine yesterday, looks like we are back to clouds and gray skies :(

We did enjoy the sun yesterday! It was beautiful out!! We spent almost all day outdoors... Today wasn't too bad at least it wasn't raining, right!?!

Thanks! We will be thanks to all of you guys!! My girls are the best dressed in preschool right now and Trev at his school :)

We have decided that only Scott will be going to California. We just received more medical bills for Trev's tests and that was a gentle reminder of Kara's upcoming surgery and we will need to put money aside for that. That is okay though because we will all be going to Disney in a couple months!!! There will be more company trips in the future we can go on with Daddy.

We have been going on walks every day so the kids get use to walking a lot in Disney World... I guess they showed us that they will have to take a million bathroom breaks too during all that walking... Okay, it only seems that way because for some reason they all must go at different times even though we try and make them all go and try at the same time! Scott has threatened to put the girls in pullups while we are there... Uh. I don't think that will work!! They are 4 1/2 now and as they tell us big girls don't wear pull ups!

Busy week ahead. Hoping to do some more planning. Some days it just doesn't seem real!

The AK shirts are wonderful, and the skirts are so cute. :) Glad you had nice weather to enjoy. Sorry the medical bills are preventing the CA trip.

I think we visited every single bathroom in Disney World with my boys. They were potty trained, mostly, but did end up wearing pullups since we were often on busses a long time and I didn't want to deal with carrying lots of extra pants. They drove us crazy with not ever wanting to go at the same time! One would refuse when we took the other then 3 minutes later was begging to go back. I think they thought the bathrooms were exciting or something. I wish I had figured out a better way but they just wore the pullups and they, unfortunately, got used sometimes. But mine are younger. And boys. So I think those are both huge factors. I think motivating them to go when you say by threatening to use pull-ups might help your girls, mine are lazy and were content to just go in their pants if given the opportunity. Sigh.

we actually stayed home on Saturday, needed a good lazy day after our crazy week! I did open a couple windows though and aired out the house :thumbsup2

bummer you aren't going to CA at all, hope there will be a future trip there soon! good idea getting the kids ready for all the walking :lmao: about the bathroom stops, better know where they all are in the parks!

fyi - I started my TR on our trip...it starts on pg 31!

Sorry the medical bills are preventing the CA trip.
That is okay. I am sure we will be there someday... Hopefully this will be the last surgery for awhile and we can start saving again for something fun... Plus we are going to DW in a couple months!!

I think I need to get a map and memorize it before hand or at least highlight the bathrooms and the medical stations. Allie gets bloody noses if you just look at her wrong... So I am sure the heat and humidity will make her nose bleed!

It was WONDERFUL having the windows open this weekend!! A great day to have a lazy day relaxing in the sun... I can't wait for 80 degree weather... I would move somewhere warmer if I could!

I really think I am gonna find myself a map of the parks and mark off the bathrooms before we leave :)

Going over to your TR now.

More Mickey Mail arrived today!! It was a swimming night so the girls had a LONG time to wait until the package could be opened... Trev of course was at school and we did not tell him until we got home so he didn't really have to wait at all :)

This package came from DiznyDi. Thank you SO much for blessing my kiddos! They LOVED them and are sleeping with their new blankets :) Kara said it would be "perfect to sleep on the plane with my new soft blanket!"

Thank you for the wonderful blankets!! We LOVE them and the kids are using them right now :)

such cute blankets!

I think you can print maps from the wdw web site!

If you can't get the maps you need online, let me know and I will grab one for each park and mail them to you if that would help. Loving all the Mickey mail, everything is so adorable.

The blankets look very nice and soft, so cute too.

We went to Epcot yesterday. I wish I had read you were looking for maps, I would have grabbed some. They changed the look of the maps this week.

2 more packages today!! The first one came from Jessi. Thanks for blessing our family!! The kids LOVE their new beach towels! They can't wait to take them to swim practice tomorrow night :)

Kara has been complaining of ear pain in her "surgery ear" as she calls it for the past 2 nights. But she has been acting fine. Today she had been complaining quite a bit so I checked it and there is a lot of yellow discharge... this could be a sign of regrowth. Praying it is not, but we do know there is a very good chance of it coming back. Going to call the specialist in the morning. Hopefully it is just an ear infection, although none of my kids have ever had this symptom with an ear infection, and not a sign of more growths in her ear. Surgery will be sometime after our wish trip and we are hopeful it is to repair her hearing and not to remove more growths.

Jackie

I love the personalized towels. They are sure to get great use with your kids taking swim lessons! And the pixie dust is so much fun. We used to bring our own glow wands like those to the evening events like Fantasmic so that we didn't buy the ones at Disney. Saved us a ton of money and the kids were thrilled with them.

Love the towels with their names in Disney-style writing!

Praying for Kara.

Thanks for calling last night. I guess it was afternoon for you. The boy's conversation was cute. Good thing JJ's a talker or it would have fizzled at hello, lol.

I was very happy with JJ, he didn't monologue about Star Wars. Instead, he kept asking Trevor questions. That's very unusual for him to make the conversation about someone else and not all about him, a big step forward. As I told you last night, theater has really changed our lives. The exercises they do serve a purpose in real life as well as on stage.
