Trevor's Star Wars Make A Wish trip

Adorable pictures, that's too cute that they wanted cars beds like their big brother. :thumbsup2 I've babysat for some kids that have them and they are pretty neat, I must say.

I can't believe (well, sadly I can) that Trevor's test results are still not back... How frustrating!! :headache: Hopefully no news is good news...

Thanks! They love their big brother and follow in his footsteps :) I'm glad for Craigslist and little tykes! When we found out they wanted a bed like their brothers we knew it wouldn't be a problem finding one... Those things last forever!

I JUST received the results from Trev's tests... His stress test and CPAP came out excellent!! His MRI however came back showing slight enlargement of his right ventricle but we already knew that. The function is good despite that fact though. SO no surgery this year!!! PTL!!! Now it will be easier to focus on happier stuff :) I know he will need surgery soon, but we are praying it will not be before age 12 as that is when his heart will be adult sized. He would need more surgeries than necessary if they do it now.

So happy right now :)

Bummer. I did not see any other nonstop overnight flights from other airlines. We originally wanted to leave mid May during the week as trev did not want to miss any field trips at school but then we agreed to leave later so we could fly a red eye.

Do you guys go to DW a lot? This will be our first time. We have been to DL but that was before kids!

Jackie

I will have a look later on about the flights...know there's got to be some out there, just don't want to have to connect though!
yes we've gone 2 times in 2002, once in 2005, 2008 and 2 times in 2011..I also went in 1994 when Jim and I were first dating :lovestruc
DLR we are probably close to 40 trips (lived in CA for 7 years) its our happy place!
think you made the best decision to take the red eye, losing that day flying isn;t fun!

Yay for great test results & no surgery! :cheer2:

Loved the pictures. :) What a wonderful offer from mnewcomer pixiedust:

Love the pictures of the kids. It is nice to get to paint and add some color to the house. It is so cute that your girls want to sleep together like that. My girls HATE sleeping together. One of mine kicks and hogs the bed so I can see why it is a problem. The picture of Punky Brewster reminds me of my 5 year old niece. She insists on picking out all of her own clothes too. She will wear a striped top, a print jumper and polka dots tights. And then go around proclaiming how well she matches because all the different prints have pink in them.:confused3

Thanks! Yes. I am so glad we painted! I couldn't take our white walls anymore. It has only been a year we have been wanting to do that! My girls use to sleep together ALL the time then for about a year they didn't and now they have started again! We will see how long it lasts this time :)

Wow! You are Disney pros! We have been 3 times but that was before kids!

I understand about connecting flights. I try to avoid them whenever possible. Yes we have been super excited about the results and now we can relax and I can continue planning! We went out to dinner to celebrate :)

Yes! I feel much better now and I feel like I can start planning again!

Thanks!

Thanks! Every year we can hold off surgery the better! I know he needs one soon but hopefully he can wait 5 years that would be the best oucome! Plus I didn't really want 2 kids having surgery this year... One is stressful enough! I sure hope you are able to get everything straightened out and Angel can go on her cruise this April!

We are trying to decide if we should try and squeeze in a park on our last day. Our plane leaves at 7pm so I think we could try and do something. We were thinking maybe Universal? We wanted to see Harry Potter and the Super Heros for sure. Or maybe hang out at GKTW that day and try to do a park our first day there... Although we arrive about 6am that morning...

Hooray for Craigslist. I love to get stuff on there and I love to get rid of stuff on there too!!!

Even bigger HOORAY for the good news about Trevor's tests. How wonderful that he won't need surgery this year. Now you can really concentrate on Disney and have a great time there!

Great news on Trevor's test results! When are they going to do the big reveal party? We are working on the package for him but we are getting stuff from all around the world so it may be a month before we get it all. Hope this won't be to late. Have a great day TK54548 Sam

WOW!!! Thank you! His reveal party will be the middle of May so that would not be too late at all. Thank you SO much!

We are thinking of doing medieval times while at Disney. I'm just wondering how two 4 year olds and a 7 year old would like it? It has been 15 years since I went so I really don't remember that much about it. Thanks!

We took our girls to the one near where we live when they were 6 and 7. They enjoyed it. The battles were quite realistic. There was no blood or anything like that but lots of sword fighting. They weren't scared but it was a bit more realistic than I had expected. If I had known, I would have explained it a bit more before we went. You can probably find some clips on youtube.

Thanks for the info! I will look on youtube for some videos. I think Trev would love it just not sure about the girls...

More Mickey Mail today!! 2 more packages came and the girls were SUPER excited!! It was hard for them to wait for Trev to get home. Especially since the packages were delivered at 10am! We happened to be home so they had a LONG wait!

The first one comes from Kellygirl. Thank you SO much for blessing our family! They LOVED all their gifts! They were tearing open each thing as they got it out. It was hard to get pics! Here are a few :)

The kids LOVED everything! They got Ariel squinkies, a Lego pen, Darth Vader toy, coloring books, water color books, crayons, cards and SUPER cute Mickey bags! Thank you SO much. You made the kids day! The played squinkies and colored and Trev wrote silly stories with his new pen!

The 2nd Mickey Mail of the day comes from Dianemom2. Thank you SO much for blessing my kiddos with such adorable clothes!! I know what they will be wearing tomorrow :) 40 degrees and rain does not stop my kiddos from wearing summer attire :)
