We are hoping to get a reservation at a treehouse for next summer so before I call I had some questions about requests. Can you request a water view of the river? If you've had that view was it too noisy? Also, can you request to be near the boat dock? We love taking the boat to DTD so it might be nice to be close. Or....to have the real relaxing treehouse experience is it best to be nestled right in the middle of the resort?

I too am going for the 1st time in Feb. and was wondering the same thing, what is a good location to request?

Don't bother with a trying for a water view...the room assigners can't tell what is water view and what isn't . The area is heavily wooded and some villas that look like they might have a water view don't and some that look like they would, don't. It is very hit or miss.

Any villas with a water view will be near the south bus stop, so you might just try requesting that, it is also near the boat dock, pool and pathway to grandstand. Be warned though, if you have a car, you might want to be up by the north bus stop. The roads are one lane and if you are all the way down by the boat dock, you can be stuck behind a bus trying to get out of the area.

There is no noise to worry about. All the views will be of the woods, obstructed water or obstructed golf course views...LOL. We actually had a villa that had all of those views! The living room looked at the golf course, the master had a partial water and the rest were woods!

We will most likely be using a mix of our own vehicle, disney buses and the boat. So I guess requesting close to the south bus stop is best?
