Does anyone have a review and/or pictures of the Treehouse Villas? We are planning on possibly staying there in Dec. 2010. We will be staying there with an infant and were wondering what it is like. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

We stayed at the Treehouse Villas this summer. We thought it was fantastic and planning on staying there for our next family vacation in 2011.

Here is a link for the pics, etc. If it it doesn't come through on the post just go to the allears.net website...look under accommodations and then treehouse under DVC in the left menu/

Enjoy your trip!!

I've checked out that site before, but was wondering if anyone on here has pictures. Also, I was looking at the map and noticed that there is only 2 bus stops. Are they far away from many of the Treehouses? Do the buses stop at the Treehouses first before heading to SSR?

We just stayed there 12/20-23. I will have pictures in a couple of days. :)

Yes, there are only 2 bus stops (north & south) and we were lucky enough to be very near the south stop, right on the water. The park buses do not come to THV. It's an internal shuttle that picks you up at either THV bus stop and brings you to The Springs (which is the main SSR stop) and after 11am, also makes a stop at Grandstand.

We had our car and, honestly, I wouldn't stay at THV without a vehicle. But they sure are beautiful! :)

Check out the SSR lovers thread.. they have some good tr and pics

Thanks all the info has been very helpful. Disney Legend- I tried your link but it's not working.

Thank you so much for the info. Is there anyone out there going to be staying there soon?

We stayed there in December and loved them. We were right by the north bus stop but often walked to SSR for the buses to the parks. We were as far away from the path to SSR as you could get and it only took 15 minutes to walk to the building with the check in desk. We did have a car but took the bus if only a few of us were going to the parks or some of us wanted to stay later than the rest of the group. We had a multi-generational group (the youngest was 2 and the oldest 60) so if you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Can you have 2 cars at the THV? I am considering them for a trip with another family, but wouldn't want to be w/o one of our vehicles for the week. Also, how difficult is it to get to the main pool from the THV? Can you take the boat to that part of SSR?

Thanks!

They say 1 car but based on the amount of cars here I am sure some have 2. You have to take the bus or drive to he pool. The bus drops you off at the springs so not to bad.

Lucky, lucky you. Enjoy.:cloud9:

Did people decorate the railings for Christmas?:santa:

We're another family who loved our stay at THV. Stayed there a week in September. I tried booking on points for a Spring trip to no avail. Earlier this month when we were at WDW, I was able to book a week at a bounceback rate of 45% off through DRC/CRO. Can't wait to go back!:cool1:

We are too! I'm totally in love with this place and trying to decide how I can add on more points now!

I love how I feel like we have been transported to cottage country in Florida. I'm thinking that the next stay here I'll try spring or summer months to get the heat. It's cold out there!
