What a difference a day makes. The sun is shining this morning and it is hot hot hot. Once again we all wake up early. Lisa is a little better and we decide to brave an early start at Magic Kingdom and go back to the Treehouse before mid day.
We make full use of our diamond parking which means we do not have to take the tram to the monorail. I am very excited to be going back on the monorail
Mark and Maurice get fastpases for Space Mountain and our first stop is tomorrowland and we go on Buzz Lightyear. This not a favorate of mine but I tolerate it lol. Next we make our way to Splash Mountain and we all do this ride. I just love the music on this 10 minute ride and it is so good to be back at Disneyworld enjoying my fav rides. Time to head back to do our Space Mountain fast passes. Lisa is still feeling a bit delicate and misses this out. The ride is great and although jerky feels amazing.
By the time we get off we meet up with Terry and Sara and Lisa who are waiting for us outside the ride. Sara's fav ride is Buzz so the others go back on Buzz. Me and Kirsty try to get a photo of Buzz outside but the queue is way toooooo long.
We then try the Monsters Laugh floor and we are sitting very close to the people being picked to go on the big screen. We all enjoy this but we feel that the park is getting too hot and too busy so head back to the Treehouse. This time we get the ferry back and it is empty
It is practially just the nine of us
I get a shot of me with the Grand Floridian in the background. Hopefully by the time we come back we will be able to stay at the new DVC villas here???
We go back and have lunch and sit out on the terrace of the treehouse. Mark and Maurice with their beloved margarittas
It is now very hot and we all go down to the treehouse pool
More margarittas, this time in the hot tub
We have a wonderful afternoon in the sun by the pool. We go back and get ready for our evening meal. We are going to try the Olive Garden.
Terry (our designated driver) and Sara come and pick us up and we drive out past cross roads but the Olive Garden is way toooooo busy so we end up at TGI Fridays.
here is a special offer for three courses for a silly price so we all go for it. Most of us have the flatbread, though Mark has the salad and a few had the mozzerella sticks
The next course is huge with many choosing burgers. Mark had pasta. For the final course it is either cheescake or oreo madness.
I have the cheesecake
We all feel very full up and stagger back to the van. A few drinks before bedtime and we roll into bed.
