Tree House booking

I apologize if this has been talked about in previous posts. One of our home resorts is SSR and I'm wondering when we will be able to book in the Tree House Villas. We were looking at a after school trip in mid June but I'm not sure they will even be open by then. I'm sure people are going to be rushing to make reservations for them. My DH and I are very excited but teenage DD is not as excited because it is further from the action at the big pool.

When will the Treehouse Villas open?

The Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa are scheduled to open on June 1, 2009. All plans are proposed, subject to change and subject to obtaining all necessary approvals.

When can Members book a stay at the Treehouse Villas?

Beginning on February 8, 2009, Members at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa may begin booking stays at a Treehouse Villa. All other Members may begin booking stays at a Treehouse Villa starting February 22, 2009. Dates subject to change.

The walk might be a bit long for someone wo just wants to "be there already" (kids have no patience LOL) However, I think the SSR buses will also be making the loop through the THV loop, so your daughter can hop a bus headed the right direction, get off at the pool or grandstand and walk up.

It would be a nice bonus if THV occupants could rent a cart like they can over at FW and have a place at the main area to park it.

I just called to update an existing reservation, and they wouldn't confirm the Feb. 8th date. They said that the date is probably going to change again..ugh!!!

When we stayed in the Treehouse Villas in the late 80's that is exactly what we had - an electric Golf Cart to get around. It was the Disney Institute in those days, but the Golf Carts were a big help. I think they would still be value added.

I had called MS and i was told the date will be posted on the DVc website and to check the DVc website often for all updates. not another website to watch besides, dings, lastminutetravel, aa &united for dec. airfare,
car rentals

Not exactly...the closest point of the THV area is slightly closer to the main pool as the furthest point of Congress Park. THV extends a lot further away (over a half mile away from the main pool).

Of course the Grandstand pool is closer, but only by about a tenth of a mile.

i love SSR & that would be great if I could rent a golf cart to get around, i wouldn' have to worry about where i stayed then we need to start a campagin
