Treatment using the DDP

We have never been treated poorly or differently for having it, as we have vacationed with and without it.

This was our first trip not on the plan & there was a definite shift in our servers' attitude when we told them we were not using the DDP.

I can't really put my finger on it & it's difficult to put into words, but it was like they were expecting us to shortchange them on the tip or something.

Ironically I tipped better (20-25%) this trip b/c we did less prix fixe buffets - sorry, but I'm not tipping $30 on a buffet.

This was our second trip using the DDP and we've never had poor service at a WDW restaurant. Some servers are more friendly/attentive than others, but that's true everywhere.

Via Napoli is really the only restaurant that somewhat restricts DDP users, by stipulating that each person must use a credit & not allowing pooling of credits to get large pizzas. We ate there this trip using credits, and our server was very thorough in explaining what we could use the credits on and what would be an additional cost (which I think was just appetizers & alcoholic beverages). And everything was delicious, including the kid's spaghetti with plain marinara sauce.
