I'm not so sure how much the ice really helps after the fact. It's just lots of time....and maybe a little concealer.

I'm glad to see you can still laugh even though you sure have had a tough time of late. I guess we all have to take the bad with the good. Your an example of how to keep on going! Hang in there.

p.s. I've heard about Preparation H for swelling, too. But, I'd be careful putting it around your eye....you don't want to create another problem!

My mother honestly use to put a frozen steak on my face {after I would have one of my occasional altercations after school}
I am not sure if it helped or she saw it on the Flinstones. I do hope you are feeling and looking better soon.

You can try to put a slab of meat on it, but a steak belongs on a grill! Ice is probably the best.

Otherwise, put on an eyepatch, put a parrot on your shoulder, say "Argh," and read the book that I set you.
