My family will be on the ddp for our upcoming trip in February. Someone will be joining us for dinner on a couple nights and I'm wondering if we can use one of our TS ddp credits to buy her dinner? I know it was possible when we were there about a year ago, but I'm not sure if it is allowed any longer. Thanks for your help.

It is no longer allowed.

Here's a helpful FAQs thread, which is a sticky at the top of this forum.

It's not officially allowed but doing so shouldn't be a problem as long as the # of people at your table doesn't exceed the # of people listed on your card. So it you are all there, plus your guest you would have to pay oop for 1 person.

And since this is one of those "only Disney can answer" type questions---
