I enjoyed it too - the animation was wonderful and I think the critics who are panning it must be crazy. Am waiting to get my signed print of the RLS Legacy back from the framers - can't wait to get it on my wall!!!

I am going to see it in IMAX on Saturday. Now I can't wait, I heard such bad publicity and was not sure if I should see it or not. But you all changed my mind. Peggie

Peggie -- I can't imagine being disappointed -- esp on an IMAX! It will be terrrific!

I too read those reviews and they are so silly. Personally I don't understand what they are saying isn't good. The graphics in the movie are spectacular as is the story line. It is a wonderful movie. I have been very pleased with the animated movies that Disney has come out with recently... Monsters Inc., Lilo and Stitch and now Treasure Planet are all totally awesome. I hope this is a sign of the future as far as their movies go....

I saw the movie (I went because I got free tickets) and glad I did, because from what I was hearing, people were not liking it. I probably wouldn't of seen it, if not for the free tickets. Glad I got them because I loved the movie........B.E.N. was great, along with the rest of the movie. I should know better than to listen to the movie critics!!!!

I saw it at Pointe Orlando on the IMAX...I liked it...I wished BEN had more of a role in it tho...by the time he was finally introduced the movie was half over.

We saw Treasure Planet (compliments of the DS too) and enjoyed it. We were skeptical before going (even with the freebies) because of the bad rap it was receiving. Although far from Disney's best effort, the story and animation was good. On the other hand, the soundtrack has a lot to be desired. Disney, stick with "Disney-like" sounding tunes. Leave the contempory stuff for the radio to worry about.

Loved it. We saw it on the IMAX screen last week & it was very impressive. Not as good as Lilo & Stitch but better than Atlantis.

Just saw it on the IMAX Screen. LOVED IT! It could even become my new favorite film. I hope to catch it again before it leaves IMAX on the 25th. If you have not seen it yet GET GOING! It is definetly worth the trip to an IMAX if it is feasable.

There is an IMAX RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from my office--I can literally see it from my office window. But do they ever get the Diseny Movies?? NO! I have to drive all the way to Baltimore! The only movie I wanted to actually see there was Everest--and they only got that about a year after it left every other IMAX in the country. what a waste! I saw the previews of TP in my regular theater and it looks awesome! It looks like it would be totally cool on IMAX. I guess Harrisburg isnt a big enough market for Disney to release the movies on IMAX here. oh well! maybe someday! I too have free tickets and plan on seeing TP this weekend. cant wait!

Be careful of you free tickets mine said they expired on Dec. 9th...

thanks for the heads up--mine are not specifically for TP--they are Movie Cash tickets my mom sent me (some Hershey's promotion I think...) and are good for any movie through January 31...

Treasure Planet was a great movie. I am so disappointed that it is not doing better financially. Disney deserves a smash hit for their efforts on this one.
