Treasure Detector Magic Update!!

Please not movie rewards! They don't do MR over here, so all us Brits would miss out! :sad1: (OK, so I know this discussion is purely hypothetical and they may well never release unlimited TDM, but I wanted to put this out there because, as we know, VMK is always watching us! :rotfl:)

I agree with this. I don't think movie rewards are fair to all since not everyone can afford the amount of money for the movies needed and as you said that the country someone lives in may not have this program. Inferno costs any where between $45 and over $200 :confused3 . Hopefully this isn't how Flying Carpet Magic is released if it is released

I tend to look at this from a business/marketing stand point. The movie studios are trying to find new ways to get consumers to buy dvds/home videos. One of the ways to do so is to add freebies like a second dvd with behind the scenes info, or bonus items like a code you can use to buy real stuff, like DMR. I tend to buy movies because I like the movie. That the movie comes with something extra is a nice bonus for me.

It looks like the next big thing is the HD Blu-Ray format, so expect Disney and other companies like Warner Brothers and Universal to start re-releasing their movie catalog all over again in HD Blu-Ray. Which means that sometime in the future, I will have to start replacing my movies too. Grrr :headache:

If we were offered full use, the 5,000 credit payoff every few times would cover the cost of the magic in no time, therefore people would buy 5* and like said above, would use it every 5-10 minutes almost making the mini games a thing of the past.

This person is new and has only 5 posts under their belt. Most importantly? They get it.

Congratulations, you are exactly right. The reason why VMK doesn't release Unlimited Use is because it would be used ALL THE TIME. The "people with the money" will buy multiple 5-star pins and would be able to use them constantly, bringing in enough credits to buy more "money machines."

All in all, unlimited use TDM will never make its way into our hands.
Exactly what I've tried to say in other threads.
