Just a quick update. I am soooo busy.

Today I opted to not do upperbody weights at lunchtime and did a 30 minute run instead. The first 18 minutes were at a 9 minute mile pace (6.7 mph), then down to 6.5 mph, completing 3 miles in just a few seconds over 27 minutes. I'm confident I'll be running full runs at 6.7 mph soon. Then it will be on to 7.0 mph :cool1:

Foods totally OP, Still living in the 160s :flower: Hooray,

Spring is here! Its 60 deg out today. Yeah!

Sunny

Hello,

Yesterday I did a 12 mile run! It was sooooo wonderful. I went slow, it took me 2 hours and 18 minutes with a ~8 minute potty/water break at the 8 mile mark. But what's really amazing is that I wasn't sore or exhausted afterward. Dx and I took DS to the play ground and ran around and played. A neat thing happened. There are parallel bars for walking across on your arms. Dx said, "I wonder if I could even get across that" and he tried and did. Then he said to DS, "I bet Mommy can't make it across". Well of course you know I had to try, and I did! It was very hard but I was PSYCHED I could do it. But we stayed active for the whole day and today I still have no soreness from the run. Yeah!

Food isn't so good. I had a slip Friday night but I convinced myself it was "carbo loading for the run" :rotfl2: But then last night ended with substantial snacking and I still have to get through today to end out my WW week. I am now over my points, having used all my flex. Why oh why can't I stop eating? :confused3 I've cleaned out all my size 12s from my wardrobe so there's no turning back!

Actually, I know part of what happened. I really can't eat most zero point veggies without great gastro-distress. Friday I had a red pepper and carrots, both of which I've learned I cannot eat. That left me bloated and uncomfortable for the rest of the day. Which, oddly enough, makes me want to eat. I can't seem to eat brocolli, cauliflower, carrots, cucumbers, peppers. I seem to do alright with green beans, snow peas, zuchini and summer squash. But I really don't like having to limit my veggies like this. The Beano just isn't cutting it.

Well, its time for Mega Laundry. I didn't do anything productive yesterday, so today I have to buckle down :)

Sunny

Awesome job on the RUN!!! I am very proud of you!!! :cool1:

That is a bummer about the veggies! I couldn't live without peppers in my salad!

I hope you have an excellet Monday! :cool1:

Sorry it isn't working for you...it has done wonders for my Mom...now we can have dinner in peace without Mom "ripping good ones" in front of DD. :rotfl2:

Hi All,
Yesterday I ran 5 miles in 45 minutes. Yep, thats a 9 minute mile pace. It's mine!!!! Now I just have to work on getting upto that speed outdoors (the treadmill is easier). WI was the pits. I was up a pound, putting me back at 170 :sad2: So this is a new week... try, try again!

Sunny

Sorry about your bummer weigh in, but that's an awesome run! Good for you! :cool1:

Also, that is so cool about the monkey bars! I'm going to have to try that again someday too!

Have a great day! :sunny:
