Travis Barker and DJ AM

I don't know if there was a thread on this already but..
Around midnight, there was a jet crash around South Carolina and 4 out of 6 people died.
Travis' assistant and body guard died along with the pilots of the jet.
Travis and AM were the only two survivors and had severe burns. They were transferred to a burn center in Georgia. Travis is burnt from the waste down and I'm not sure about DJ AM.
Let's just hope they do okay because Travis has a family waiting at home for him.
Keep them in your prayers.

They are both in critical, but stable condition. And DJ AM's face was burnt.

They are definitely in my prayers. I was going to make a thread about it yesterday but I got caught up in things.

Actually, the plane crashed in South Carolina. They were taking off for Van Nuys but it never made it. I feel for the family of Travis' assistant, I heard they were heading home at that time because his wife went into labor. I also heard DJ AM had his face burnt.

Apparently they weren't even supposed to be on that place, they were booked on a commercial flight in the morning, but when Travis heard his assistants wife was going into labour he said he would do everything he could to get him home for the birth of his baby!!!

A publicist for Travis Barker and DJ AM contacted TMZ and says our sources are incorrect -- that Chris Baker's wife was not in labor when he died in the plane crash and that was not the reason Travis and the others flew home on a private jet.

It's still sad, and they are in my thoughts.

I heard that DJ AM is in a drug-induced coma and had received skin grafts. Whether that's true or not, I don't know.

I hope they recover ok because Travis Barker is a cool guy. Even though I do not believe he is the greatest drummer like other people do.

He's more or less the most well-known drummer. He is pretty good though, not gonna lie.
