Has anyone used Travelrite scooters for rental of a mobility scooter whilst in Orlando, they seem to have really small scooters which fold up to fit in the trunk of your car, which is what I need but I would would like to know that someone has used them successfully in the past.
thank you
Julie, I would love one of those but my xxl body is too heavy for them! LOL
The main difference I am aware of is the battery capacity. The smaller more portable scooters often have only one battery and can go up to about 10 miles per charge. The double battery heavy duty scooter I have can go for 25-30 miles per charge.
I don't see any reason not to use the smaller travel scooter if you can but I would consider taking the charging unit along and charging the battery while dining perhaps. If you ask at the restaurant they may be able to find an outlet you can use. If not there, I bet the first aid stations have places you can plug into.
Hope someone else has some experience with these scooters and can offer info.
