We spent 5 nites in the Travelodge suites 5399 Irlo Bronson memorial Hwy.
The stay was ok. It wasnt the newest hotel Ive ever stayed at. But we got a price of 42$, including tax. It had 2 double beds and a pullout sofa sleeper. We did have excellent tv reception. I just read some of the cheaper hotels have bad reception, but ours was great. This is the Travelodge right behind the"Big Orange",.its a gift shop and has the words on top "Worlds biggest Orange". We did have a fridge and microwave. They did have what they called a "free breakfast" all it consisted of was donut/coffee/3 dift kinds of juice. The pool was good, nice and heated. The room was always clean when we got back from the parks, didnt see any bugs anywhere;) Like I said it wasnt the best hotel I stayed at, but it was adequate for what we needed. It was however in a great location, only about a 5 minute drive to the parks. They did have shuttle service, but we like taking our own car to come and go as needed. There were all kinds of restaurants within walking distance.
They did NOT leave a tip envelope like some hotels do, which was nice. My husband did however leave the maids a nice tip because Our room was really messy. We had it all rearranged. We moved the beds together, took the mattress off the sofa bed and had my son sleep there(he said it was uncomfortable the regular way). The maids always made the mattress up as if it were still in the sofa. So my dh felt they deserved a big tip for putting up with us.:)

Sorry, not used to this board! Was the suite all one room, or was the bedroom separate? How was the bathroom laid out? Was there a table and chairs in the kitchen area?

Basically yes, the suite was all one room, but they say its not. Its only slightly bigger then a regular hotel room. Yes there is a table with chairs, and there is no "real" kitchen area. Like I said before the word "Suite" is very deceiving at this hotel. When you walk in the table and chairs is on the left, the sofabed on right. Where they have the tv, its like a big cabinet thing, the tv on top, the next shelf down is the microvave, and below that is the fridge.
The bathroom is where the toliet and shower are in one room. The sink is separate. Hope I answered all your questions anymore let me know.
Like I said, for the price it was ok, and fit our needs, but nothing fancy. Everybody who worked there was very nice, so no complaints at all.

I am glad to hear you had positive things to say. We are taking an extended family trip in October and we are seriously considering this hotel. I was able to find a rate of $34.00 a night then for the several rooms we would need. I was worried about it being really run down or anything. It sounds like it was okay though.

Wow,.how did you get a rate of 34$ thats a good price. I thought 42$ was a good price, maybe you are going offseason. Like I said, if you stay here, remember it is not a fancy hotel, its probably one of the older Travelodges, but things are maintained properly. We werent in the room often, so it worked well for us.

That's the Travelodge Suites East Gate that you stayed at.

For anyone thinking of going, be really careful not to confuse it with the Travelodge Suites up the street at 4694 Irlo Bronson. That one is the dumpy one.
