Has anyone ever booked one of these rooms, I am not sure if there is a site that may help to identify them as Priceline and hotwire do.

I booked a Secret Room for Savannah that said it was in the Downtown area. The hotel was actually near the airport. I called and got my money back... they argued about it until I pointed out that this hotel was nowhere near the downtown area and you would actually need a car to drive to Savannah. So in my case, I was impressed by the price, but felt misled by the info as to its location.

This was last year, so improvements might have been made.

Their description is what concerns me, a lot of the properties in Orlando don't show a pool as an ammenity, but very few hotels in Orlnado don't have them. Their prices are really reasonable, but still hesitant and I am one that is always ready for an adventure. May have to book the conventional route.

Do a regular search for your dates and carefully compare the amenities to the top-secret offerings. You can usually get a pretty educated guess at what you'll be getting.

If booking conventionally, after you have decided on your hotel using the search engines, go directly to the hotel website and try to book there if at all possible. This can save you a ton of grief if anything goes wrong down the road.

I am looking at 2 properties in St. Pete Beach, the only ammenities showing are pool and internes access, I am sure there must be more than that. Hotwire is so much easier to identify.

I use it all the time for hotels in Orlando.I always get at least 2.5 stars and I'm usually satisfied or sometimes extremely satisfied by the hotel I get.The fees and taxes also tend to be cheaper than Hotwire which I also use.
