This is our first trip to Disney with the family, and I am not sure how the whole "under 3" thing works. My twins will not be turning 3 until 2 days after we leave, so they will *almost* be 3. I could leave them at home with MIL, but I hate to do that as this is supposed to be a family vacation and all we really have to pay for is the plane ticket. Anyone know how they compute in the max. number per room, eating at the buffets, park entrance, etc?

Suggestions would be nice for toddler-sized fun for them. Both of my parents are coming, so at least there will be a one adult to one child ratio, and we can split up is needed.

I saw other threads for the older set, so I am okay with planning for them. I am just clueless for the twins.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

We took our 3 1/2 yo. triplets years ago. They loved everything. The haunted mansion, dumbo, peter pan, the monorail, the ferry, the carousel, it's a small world, mr toads wild ride (gone now), Epcot, Honey I shrunk the Audience. the dinosaur ride, Everything they were tall enough to do we did. They love chef mickeys, hoop dee doo the pools.they loved the characters, but we warned them how big they are, and that they don't talk. For a reason we told them it wouldn't be fair to children who don't speak english if they spoke only to us.

Good luck.

if your concerned about cost. If I'm not mistaken when you make your reservation they ask how old are the children. Not how old will the children be.

As far as the room goes, I would suggest a villa if you can. that many people can make for a hectic morning. We rented a 2bdrm villa when the triplets were 4 1/2, it was so much more relaxing. We have done it every time since. A 2 bdrm sleeps 8.

Children under three are free at the parks and the buffets. We took our ds right before he turned three the first time we went and it was great! He loved everything (and remembered everything). Now he's the most disney obsessed of our kids. I would suggest (if you can swing it) staying at a monorail hotel. It makes it so much easier. Fantasyland is geared toward 3 - 8 years olds so they'll have a ball.
