Travelling with an ASD child

We went to Disney for the first time this past June. My middle child (4) has ASD and we were worried about how he would do at Disney. We decided to stay at POFQ because it was small and quiet. I knew that the value resorts would be way to much for his sensory system to process. We stopped and got a GAC after attempting MK at night without one. When the CM saw me come in, he just new and smiled and was wonderful. We had the best trip and my son loved everything. He still asks to go every morning and says "Welcome to the Magic Kingdom" when we pull into the driveway. We booked again for next June...can't wait
