Travelling to WDW Newly Pregnant???

Try economy with twins 23 months on lap and no others to help :-( no eating on that flight for us

I'm terrified at the prospect of having twins full stop!!! :rotfl: Flight or no flight, twins is too much for me! It really stresses me out. I totally admire anyone who has multiples because the very idea scares the hell out of me.

Mine are nearly four and I'm still scared ! I have 1in5 chance having another set that's scary

Did you see about the woman that recently gave birth to her 3rd set of twins?
Twins run in our family, my sister had twin boys they're about 8 now.:):)

Yes i did! I was shocked and i think i would passout if i got told i was having another set :-(

God bless her and anyone who has twins! That's all I can say. I couldn't cope I don't think, especially identical twins!

Personally, we'd prefer to be in FL! My DW is american and hates any form of medical treatment here in the UK!! :rotfl2:
:

I had my oldest DD in CA and my youngest one here in the UK. The hospital treatment that I received for the sickness was soooo much better in the UK. In CA it was more of a patch her up and ship her out type of treatment This was in a top notch hospital) and here in the UK they actually helped to get me better before they discharged me! :thumbsup2

My wife was a couple of weeks pregnant on our last trip - but we didn't know it! She was a bit rough a few days but we didn't notice really as she often suffers a bit when abroad where air con is on all the time

She was fine on the flights though

I was just over 10 weeks pregnant when we went to WDW and for the most part I was fine. However I found I had an aversion to chicken (which I normally love) and it made me ill anytime I ate it, I didn't figure this out until I was several days in. The cravings also started and I spent 90 minutes searching DTD for a ham sandwich! I also was pretty tired and we were on the Deluxe Dining Plan but we ended up missing a lot of our reservations as I didn't feel like eating that much. I found there was an awful lot of rides I couldn't go on, some were quite surprising as I really thought they were quite mild. Morning sickness started the day before we returned home and it came with a vengeance!

To be honest, if I had a do over I wouldn't have gone. While I will always enjoy Disney, it was an awful lot of money to spend when I felt so tired and couldn't enjoy most of the rides or food that I had spent so long planning for. It really does depend on the person but unfortunately for me tiredness hit me hard during the first trimester and although flying wasn't a problem for me, I found I was worried an awful lot and it was the only time I was glad to be coming home. I found out I was pregnant when we only had 3 weeks to go, so we would have lost a lot of our money. However I wouldn't advise it if you had the choice. But that is just my opinion and I am sure others loved going to WDW when pregnant.

Personally I don't think I would have enjoyed WDW during my first trimester of pregnancy with DD. I don't feel I had an unusually difficult pregnancy but the almost constant nausea and tiredness really ground me down. I guess it depends how regularly you go to WDW, for us it's not an annual or even bi-annual thing but if it was I think i'd be OK with having a trip where I couldn't do quite as much.

We went when I was 16 weeks for our honeymoon. I think every day before our trip from the day I fell pregnant I was sick even our wedding day. But when we were in WDW I was only sick once. We do go to WDW regularly so don't feel the need to rush around and get everything done. DH doesn't like the thrill rides any way so we usually skip them. It was nice to take the park at a slower pace, saw all the shows and spent a lot of time at the pool in the shade it was lovely to just relax. The day we arrived home the sickness started all over again :(

Thanks, for all of the input on this. It's great to hear all the different views and different experiences.
