Hi Everyone!

So I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I have decided, less then 4 weeks before my trip, that we are going to fly to WDW, over the previously planned driving trip. I wanted to go to the beach for 2 days (St Petes), and am not sure the best (and cheapest) way to get there, and then back to the airport. If anyone had an ideas or suggestions that would be awesome!!!! Also, we're flying from Detroit, does anyone know any hotel parking deals there????TIA!!!

Renting a van for our trip gave our family the most flexibilty for the cost. We got a great rate through Thrifty (mousesavers has good codes!;)) and picked up the van right at the airport. Having our own vehicle gave us the freedom to go to Tampa for a few days before we spent the remainder of our time in Orlando. My kids loved going to Clearwater beach (especially sunset at Pier 60) and Cocoa Beach!

We flew out of Buffalo and was able to find some airport hotel and parking deals just by doing a google search.

Have fun planning!:goodvibes

We are doing the same this Oct/Nov.....it is cheaper for us to fly directly to Orlando and pick up our rental car and drive to Clearwater to our hotel and then drive back to Orlando for our vacation there on Nov. 3. My kids are soooooooo excited to see the water and us adults cant wait to start our vacation with a few relaxing down days. People will think we are crazy in November but it will be warm for us.........
