Just got back from DLP last night. Had a fab time there (our 2nd time) and will hopefully post trip report soon. Need to find my list of what we did first lol.
Anyway, we went by Eurostar via Paris as we had decided to make a trip to DLP at the last minute, so there were no more bargain tickets direct to DLP. We changed at Chatelet Les Halles from Gare du Nord to catch the red RER A4 line to Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy (got the info from here). We didn't get lost or anything which was good but the change was a bit of a struggle esp with 2 kids (one in a buggy) and luggage as there was quite a bit of going up and down several escalators.
On our way back from DLP to Gare du Nord yesterday evening, they announced that trains were not stopping at Chatelet Les Halles as there was some sort of a security thing there. So we hopped off at the station before - Gare de Lyon - and caught the green D1 line up to Gare du Nord instead. Was pleasantly surprised that we only had to take ONE escalator up to the D1 platform and that was it. Much easier changeover as it's a smaller station.
So, if you are travelling via Paris and if you have lots of luggage and/or buggy, I would changeover at Gare de Lyon to catch the A4 train to DLP.
Thought I'd share with you guys.
