Travelling between resorts

I have a feeling this should be in the Transportation section and if so, feel free to move the thread

I'll be staying at the CBR in December - I know it's ages away yet but I'm excited! I plan on eating in a couple of other resort restaurants, for example Contemporary and Beach Club.

My question is, how easy is it to get from CBR to these resorts. I know there won't be a direct bus so how do I do it?

You are right -- there is no direct bus. Travel to the nearest themepark and then catch a bus to BC. You could also catch a bus to Epcot and then walk through the park and out the International Gateway to the BC, but it's pretty far.

To get to the Contemporary, catch a bus to the MK. Then, jump on the monorail to the Contemporary for a fun ride (or, you can even walk -- it's really close.)

Thanks, that's exactly the information I was looking for. Sounds like it could take a while to resort hop so I'll take that into account when planning my time.

If you use Disney Transportation to get to a resort, leave with plenty of time to spare to make your PS. Sometimes it can take 30-45 min. to get to a resort depending on the distance from the resort you are staying in.

If the themeparks are closed when you want to travel, you will have to use DD/PI as your "transportation hub". All of the resorts have buses that go to and from DD/PI. POR and OKW also have boat transportation to DD, but the boats do not run as late as the buses.

Another option is to just take a cab. That will cost $10-$15, including tip. Since taking the bus to DD and then transferring can take an hour or more, sometimes a 10 minute cab ride is so worth it!
