Travelling alone with kids. Documents required?

DH, me, DD8 and DS will be flying together BUF-MCO Dec 17. DH will fly back to BUF Dec 31. me, DD, and DS will fly back to BUF Jan 7 (DH will pick us up at BUF and drive us home).

I don't need any special documentation do I to fly WITHIN the US with the two kids on my own, do I? I assume I don't but just want to make sure.

When we went to WDW with a friend and her three boys her husband got a signed notorized letter stating that he knew the boys were with their mom, and our travel dates. We never needed the letter, but it's better to not need it and have it, then need it and not have it. We didn't pay anything for the notorization,we just went to the local court house and they did it there. We just had it for the purpose of crossing the boarder.
