Traveling without MDE?

Hi everyone!

We are only a few days away before going back to WDW after a two year hiatus and going for the first time as parents, can't wait!

As we get ready, I made sure I uploaded all my apps only to find out that the newest version of MDE is not compatible with my 4th generation iPod touch...

Any thoughts on going without being able to check our FP+ and ADR through the app?

I mean, don't get me wrong : I'm the first one to shut my cellphone down as soon as get to the airport to get the most of my vacation, but will all FP+ thing, I admit having the app made it easier.

You can still access your MDX account via a browser.

I had a Windows phone last December at WDW. No MDE app for it. It wasn't an issue. As mesaboy says, you can just log into your WDW account instead of the app.

Yup, a web browser should be fine. If you can't access MDX for whatever reason, it'll also be fine. It throws off touring a little bit but if you have a general plan you are going to stick to anyway, it shouldn't ruin your vacation.

I plan on taking a screen shot of all fp+ selections and ADRs just in case I can't get to the app or web browser. I'm gonna email people in my party the pictures just so everyone has it.

FYI - I have an older generation iPhone - and the MDE works lousy on it in the parks - like to the point of not being usable. And again, since it's an older device, it even seemed like the browser option was too slow to function in the parks. A picture in an email did work for me - but honestly, a piece of paper with times written on it stored with my money/cards was even more efficient. Disney website is slow - even on speedy on a speedy internet connection.

And sadly - I waited too long and the NEW phone won't arrive until after my next trip....
