Traveling with Sports Group??Value Resorts? Heard crazy!!

Considering traveling to either All Star Movie or All Star Sports with Sports Group this spring....Heard in particular All Star Sports is pretty loud and crazy all hours throughout the night! Didn't a Pop Warner cheerleading group or something get asked to leave recently? Consistenly All Star Movie gets better reviews than Sports!

All Star Movie a little more subdued and quiet?? I'm sure kids don't mind, but for some of us adults, that scene may get a little old after a night!

Any comments? Heard POP is the best one, but that one is not a choice in this package...

Also, any particular area of Movie Resort that our group should try to "request" for more "quiet" area????????Any nicer rooms than another area?

okay first check and make sure the bus transportation is good for both places - or you might find yourself walking to sports.

this is not disney transportation - I think it is mears - but disney should be able to tell you. this is the transportation to the games.

I'm assuming you are traveling with the sports group as a chaperone? Or as a participant? Relax about the All Stars. They are not loud and crazy at all hours of the night. The Pop Warner incident you referred to was an isolated incident. Two teams were asked to leave Disney World immediately. Most of the bad things heard about the sports groups is mainly because the kids are allowed to go out of the rooms and they get crazy. If a sports group has proper supervision, then everything is fine. But that is entirely up to the sports group, not Disney World. Disney World does not provide the chaperones for the groups. You have to do that on your own.

The transportation to All Stars is Disney so I'm not sure where the Mears ference came from. Maybe that's to and from the sports events.

We went with a baseball team last July and stayed at the CBR. The transportation was great. Right from the hotel to Wide World of Sports. They took very good care to place the teams in the same section of the resort so they did not disrupt other guests. The only problem we had was the number of people using the laundry facilities. Since all of the teams were in one section, that laundry room was very full at all hours of the day and night. The Disney sports travel people are wonderful to work with. Have fun.
