Hi,
Has anyone used the spacebags for traveling??If so how do you seal the bags on the way back???If i read it right the bags have to be sealed by vacuum....Thanks

There are brands of space saver bags that do not require vaccuums - just roll the bag after you've put stuff in it, and the air is forced out through a one way vent. I found these at Sears, relatively inexpensive, and loved how they worked!

Hi,
Are they made by the same people or is there another name for them???Do they do the same as the vacuum ones by making more space???Thanks again

http://www.spacesaverbag.com/share/..._id=1luggagesspacestoragebags&page_id=shopnow - those are the ones I got. I used them on our cruise last year, and they were WONDERFUL for the trip home. I put all our dirty laundry in one, and it flattened to nearly nothing - I could not see refolding and packing dirty laundry - and I used one small one for the bathing suits that were still wet from our beach time during the day - nothing was wet when we got home 24 hrs later! My daughter used them to go to Australia this summer, when she had to bring one bag, but pack for their winter weather - her sweatshirts and fleeces folded down flat easily, and even she, at 11, could do it herself.

(if you look at the home page for that website, you will see a little animated "demo" of the bags)

I love them. I have the type you roll up and got them at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I've recently seen them in WalMart by the luggage.

I have a couple of the travel space bags. I liked them, but wanted to save some money, so instead of buying more space bags, I just bought a box of the large 2 gallon ziploc bags. They're slightly more tricky to get all the air out of but worked just as well and we've reused them several times.

Just a tip, if you try this, get the bags that have the little slider for zipping them closed. It makes it a little easier.

my question is, does everything really come out neat and unwrinkled when you take them out of the bags?
