Has anyone had any problems with their pins in carry on luggage? We are going to WDW at the end of the month and will be taking trading pins. My sister is worried that they will not let us carry them onto the plane.

from what I have heard, just let the baggage
screeners know that you have collectible lapel
pins in your bag going there... Orlando airport
is SO used to seeing them they practically don't
even look... but it probably wouldn't hurt to mention
it anyway.

at worst, they might make you open your pin
bag and examine each and every page...

Nobody I have heard of has had any problems...

last time I flew, they were more interested in
the large glob of coins I had left over from the
casino than anything else I had with me.

but I have heard, definitely carry them with you...
don't check them... you don't want to risk losing
them!

have a great time!

Sometimes they will look at each and every page, zippered pocket and pouch. Other times . . . my laptop seemed to garner more attention. :p

I typically pack mine in my checked luggage but coming back from DLP I put them in my carry on and they opened my bag but quickly waived me right through. And that was an international flight.

It is strange... Sometimes we go right through other times... They look at every page...
