Hi! Next week we're going to be heading to a park with another family. They are fellow Florida AP holders but they haven't stayed on-site so they can't prebook fastpasses. We have and can prebook.

Is the only way to tour together to let them book their fastpasses when we enter the park and then change our times to match theirs? (Or they could try to match their times to ours but they'd still have to wait until they got to the park.) If we link our MDE accounts, would that allow them to prebook?

Had anyone else had this situation before? Any guidance is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have done this last October. We were staying onsite and my FL AP holding family met us there. We had to go up to the FP+ kiosk and they linked all of our FP+ together. I will say that my BIL never showed up on my MDE app, but my sister did. But, the FP+ worked regardless and I am hoping it is the same in June.

Thank you for the response!

We're going to EPCOT next Friday with this family, and I just prebooked our family's fastpasses. Not sure if the other family will be able to prebook or not. If not, we should all go to a kiosk and the CM can create fastpasses for the other family that match ours...is that correct?

That is correct. We did that a few week ago. The CMs are very good at doing that.

Do they change the times of the prebooked fastpasses or give the people joining (not staying on site) the same times as the people who have already prescheduled their fast passes?

Is it also possible to do this with a BOG fastpass for lunch? Example we make a FP plus time for the our party of 5 and then when we enter the park that day we add the person we are touring with who has an annual pass but no magic band due to not staying on site?

Now, this could have changed since Jan 10th, but at that time they would not allow us to add anyone to our BOG Fastpass. The reason we were given is this: The BOG "fastpasses" are not REALLY fastpasses. They call them that, but they're in no way linked to your MagicBands and/or park ticket. Instead, they're just linked to your resort reservation, so no one can be added. Having said that, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask the CM at the checkin "desk" if you can add someone.

BOG FP+ is totally different. It's more like a ADR for QS meal. Can't add more people.

They try to give the offsite people the same as the prebook if available. If not then they would try to move all of the times to match.

OP - your post doesn't say whether you are staying on-site this trip.

If you are, are you using DDP? If it's room only, then you could put your friends' names and MDE on your ressie rather than your family members. Since you said your family has stayed befoe, you need to get your friends on a ressie to prebook, but not your family.

Just a thought.

We are not staying over this trip; we're only there for the day.

I'm glad to know that the cast members will try to get all our times together.

Update: we went Friday to Epcot. When we arrived we brought a print out of the fast pass times I had pre- booked to Guest Relations. They gave my friend paper vouchers that acted as fast passes for the three rides I had pre-booked. No trouble using them.

Hope this helps other travelers! :)
