This is a first trip to Disney for my family and I. We will be traveling with a 6 month old. I want to pack plenty of bottles for the plane but am concerned about the regulations with liquids and such. Also while in Disney I know we will leave the resort early and not come back till late so is it best to use diaper bag or back pack to store bottles/diapers/clothing? I don't want to load the stroller down because I know we will have to park the stroller and leave it at times and I don't want our things tampered with. Any advice would be great :)

We have taken all three of our kids when they were 5-6 months old. I can't help with flight advice because we always drive. We never go back for a nap midday. I have found at this age babies are so adaptable, ours have always napped well in the stroller. We always pack a small bag in the stroller with formula, diapers, an extra outfit, and a blanket/other necessities. One of us wears a backpack with another set of the same things in it. That way if one were lost or stolen we had a back up. As far as formula goes we used the similac pre mixed single serving bottles. The gerber classic rings and nipples screw right on the bottle...no measuring or mixing! It worked great for us. People always act like we are crazy for taking our babies, but honestly a 5-6 month old is much easier to deal with than a 5-6 year old haha!

If you are worried about your things being messed with, rent a locker. That way you won't have so much stuff in your stroller to worry about, and you won't have to wonder if someone touched your bottles, though I would hope no one would!

I like the locker idea! I hope someone would not mess with a baby bottle but you never know!

I have flown several times with pre-filled bottles. All I had to do was take them all out in the security line before they scanned the bags so they would know they were there. Then they took them and tested them. They used some sort of light machine so they didn't even need to be opened. It took maybe 5 extra minutes. When I switched to formula, I found it easier to just take premeasured formula in the bottles and then buy a bottle if water after security. I still had to separate the bottles from the rest of my carry-ons, but it wasn't a big deal. I also don't think there are size limits (how many ounces) the bottles have to be. I never had a problem with it anyway. Have a great trip!

I have never had a problem with bottles at security. I Don't think they ever even made me take them out of the cooler. Like the previous poster said, I like measuring formula into the bottles, then adding water later as needed. You won't have to worry about keeping bottles cold, and it will be lighter too. I haven't solved the bag dilemma. I am not a backpack person- And after 4 kids i am sick of carrying a diaper bag! I put ziplocs with various necessities under the stroller -diapers/wipes, spare outfits, snacks) and grab them as needed. I keep my valuables in a small cross body bag.

My son is on a special liquid formula that comes either in 2 oz plastic bottles or 8 oz cans. I took a few of both through security. The plastic bottles could be tested fine. The cans could not to be tested so I had to be pulled aside and patted down as well as my hands tested for bomb residue. This was all because the cans could not be tested even though they were sealed from the manufacturer. I was still able to take them through, they just said it was standard practice to require the pat down. On the returning flight, I just took the 2oz bottles with me and they tested fine. As for the park. I like taking a back pack. You can put it in the stroller basket when you don't need it. Strollers are everywhere...I've never seen anyone mess with it.
