If you are traveling with another member can you combine points for your stay? Assuming both have same home resort and 11 months out or different resorts and 7 months out from travel date??

Or would all points need to be transfered($95 fee) to one of the accounts?
Or book two reservations that cover the length of the stay needed?

Anyone ever done this??

Assume you are asking about a stay at a DVC resort and staying in the same villa. If so, the easiest thing to do would be for one family to reserve 1/2 of the nights and the other family reserve the other 1/2. Then have MS link the two reservations. Some posters report doing this via a 3-way conference call.

You could also arrange for one family to transfer 1/2 of the points needed to the other family. That would use up the one transfer for the use year for both contracts and control of the reservation would belong to the family that received the points. As you know, all points must be from the same resort to book more than 7 months prior to arrival. Resort wouldn't matter if you booked 7 months or less prior to arrival.

If you are booking DVC resort, there is no fee involved for either the reservation or the point transfer.
