I want to go to Disney in October, and will have a 6,2 and 2 month old. We went this past December, so it's not our first trip...am I crazy for thinking this is even an option though? Should we just wait until right before our 2 year old turns 3, next March and go in February?

We are going next month with our 10, and 8 year olds and our 15 week old. So no, I don't think you're crazy. :)

We've gone twice this year, when our kids were 2 and 8 weeks, and when they were 2.5 and 6 months. We saw tons of people with multiple kids, including tiny babies. I think it's normal for us Disney people, so no, i don't think you're crazy either!

Our baby actually turned 3 months old on our Disney trip, and she had a good time! She was super easy and portable, and she LOVED watching Pooh Bear and Oso when we were there. AND she laughed for the first time on Dumbo. What an awesome memory that was!

(ignore the clothespins.. we used them to hang a receiving blanket over, so she was completely covered from the sun, rain, etc while she was asleep.. which was a lot! We actually had quite a few people offer to buy them from us :P)

We did realize that she napped in the stroller a lot better if we unbuckled her and let her roll over, so most of her vacation pictures are of her "turtling"

We have brought our two older ones twice already and we are planning another trip for Spring 2016. By that time we'll have a 9 month old! So you're certainly not the only one!

I've been reading that traveling with an infant is actually easier than traveling with toddlers ... I'm hoping that's true :-)

I'm glad to find this thread. I'm currently expecting our second who will join us in early August and we are planning to take a maternity leave trip. It will be our 4 year old DS and about 9 or 10 week old DD at the end of October. It's great to hear that those who have done it have had a positive experience!

Absolutely not! Took our 10 month old twins in February! We had a blast and are going back in November!

Our daughter's first trip was when she was 8 weeks old. Never had an easier time with her! I wore her in a sling with a portable fan and she did great! Go for it!

We went at the end of last sept. with a 12 year old, 7, and 7 week old. It was fine we has gone when the now 7 year old was 3 months too and it was fine.

Personally I think that age is too young to expose a very young infant to a very germy WDW. The picture of the 3 month old baby putting their mouth
on tigger's nose made me cringe. What if a sick child had just touched that nose or had filthy hands? Very small babies have very immature immunities
and I just think it is taking a chance that I wouldn't take. JMO

At ten months we had wet wipes and hand sanitizer and went through them by the case- both babies stayed healthy and came home healthy!

We went when DD was 2 month old and it was the easiest trip with a child so far! She spent her whole time in my wrap sleeping, eating, and enjoying the sights :) That left my 2 hands free to help DH with the other 2 girls. Also got one of my favorite pics with her and Tiana on that trip. I say go for it, but definitely recommend a baby carrier of some kind and a comfortable, easy to hanlde stroller (we have the baby jogger city mini double, so easy on the buses). And I wouldn't worry about germs too much because it's not like a baby that age is touching everything... they're pretty much confined to wherever you put them!

Likely the 6 & 2 year old will be the bigger handful. We took our daughter (now 4yrs) with our extended family when she was 3.5 months and she was great - just napping/eating wherever we were. We used the baby care centres frequently too for diaper changes and just to take a break and feed her in a quiet place. If you haven't been to the Baby Care Centres at the parks, they also have a room with cartoons and chairs for toddlers/preschoolers who need some downtime/snack/time out of the sun.

Just wanted to say, I love all the pictures of the babies. We took DD when she was 9 mo. old. That was the easiest trip we have even taken with her. She is now 4 and has been 5 times. Definitely, the older kids will be more of a challenge than the baby.

This is DD on her first trip with her new friend, Minnie. Pic.3.jpg

We have taken each of our 4 kids at 8-12 weeks and had a great time and would do it again without hesitation. They are now 18, 16, 13 and 7 and they survived just fine.

I just want to comment re. germs. We took our son when he was 7 1/2 months old, and I carried hand wipes around and religiously wiped his hands after every single ride, every single time he touched a chair, railing, etc.

Well, that night we were reviewing photo pass photos, and there is one of him BITING Goofy's glove. If I had seen that earlier, I would have wiped his mouth out with Clorox! (well, not actual Clorox, but you get my drift).

Anyway, moral of the story, he was fine, and my husband and I laugh about it now.
